Is it still worth it to trade your DVDs?

What do you think?  Is it still worth it to trade your DVD movies?  You do not hear too much of trading music CDs anymore.  Trading video games is worth it, mainly because of the price point.  But trading DVDs?

With services like Netflix & RedBox, it makes it somewhat pointless to trade anymore I think.  After the postage, shipping supplies, and time, its easier to just drop by RedBox and pick up a movie.  Not to mention save the money to buy the movie in the first place.  Most of the movies we own we have only watched once.  Of course there are the special movies you buy because you do watch them a lot.

I will be adding sites to the Trade page as I come across them or get recommendations.  Tell me what you think.

Sell your used DVDs at MX123.com

We had a small pile of DVD movies we wanted to get rid of.  We brought them to the local resale shop for them to pretty much insult us.  After getting a good laugh, we took our DVDs and left.  I searched around and tried a few sites on the web to find out what we could get for them.  I found MX123.com to offer the best price for my DVDs so I sent them a small batch.  They offer free shipping on sells over 20 DVDs, so we sent 21.  It did take longer than I would have liked, but we received all the money they promised via PayPal.  We were happy with the transaction, so we sent another bundle of DVDs.  We are waiting for that one now to show as received.  One reason for the slow transaction is the fact they use media mail through the USPS.  This saves them on shipping, but is a slower method.
